Have you ever felt so down
And you got a call and
After it, you felt so alive?

Have you ever felt so tired
And you got home
To meet a freshly prepared meal?

Have you ever felt so troubled
And your phone rang
And it was a gift from a loved one?

Have you ever felt like being indoors all day
Only to get a knock on your door
And it was a very special someone?

Have you ever felt sad,
But as soon as you saw a little child smile,
You could not help but smile?

Have you ever felt discouraged,
But the words of a total stranger
Who was not talking to you uplifted you?

Have you ever?

This is the reason
God said,
“It is not good that man should be alone.”

This is the reason
God blessed man
To be fruitful and to multiply;

This is the reason
God loves the communion
Of a man and woman to become one;

That we may love
And through that love,
Build ourselves and everyone we come across.

Relationship is one of the most
Powerful gifts given to men
For it teaches us to love,
And gives us the opportunity to be loved.

The Gift of Relationships

“[9] Two people are better than one. When two people work together, they get more work done. [10] If one person falls, the other person can reach out to help. But those who are alone when they fall have no one to help them.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10, ERV).
